Nevermind I lied. I think it is 100 - your percentage = the amount of exp you get. so at 70% you get 70% and your pet gets 30%. It kind of works like before.

it works on a vice versa, the negative xp is just visual, you'll only get to see the real xp gained on your pet/s when you refresh.
