nce upon a time, there was a man named Jonathan.
He had set out on a long journey to gain money and supplies for his family back in mushroom village, seeing how his brother Hambone was only scraping by with the charity of others.
He walked and walked until his legs could not carry him any further. He was hopelessly lost in the scorching hot beaches of dread.
He then came across a wild man sleeping near one of the many palms and the man awoke suddenly and frantic.
Jonathan had thought the man had gone mad from the heat seeing that the man was wearing clothes made out of coconuts.
Jonathan approched the man with caution knowing he could be carrying any type of weapon.
H..h..hello sir? A..Are you okay? He asked with an expression on his face that showed half curiosity and half fear.
HUH?WHAT? WHO'S THERE? then man yelled from within his seedy helmet.
Once the man had situated his helmet to where he could see out of the clear cut eye holes he addressed the young man in front of him.
Oh why hello there youngster, why what brings you out to these parts? Said the certifiably insane middle aged man.
I..I'm Jonathan, I'm h..hear looking to find wealth for my family...said Jonathan as timidly as a mouse.
The man suddenly burst out into laughter and fell backward into the sand.
What's so funny you crazy old man? Said Jonathan with all the authority he could muster within the timid husk of a man he was.
YOU! CAME HERE! LOOKING TO STRIKE IT RICH! THIS IS A DESERT BOY! AIN'T NOBODY GON' TRAVEL THROUGH THESE PARTS CEPT' YOU! The man said after he tried to pull his composure together.
Jonathan, feeling the knot of utter defeat growing tighter in the pit of his very soul walked off in utter sadness, to return to his family without a single coin in hand.
The crazy coconut man suddenly sat up,bolt straight and ran after him.
Boy where you off to no? he asked sincerely, sensing he had crushed the young mans dreams.
Out of this place, that's for sure. Jonathan said with a cold expression.
Listen I'm sorry you came all the way out here for nuffin' boy and the man reached into a bag tied to his coconut armor and pulled out a large jewel.
Here,It's all I got and I don't have no use for it no more. My venturin' days are over and I need to settle down, maybe start a family. the man said.
Jonathan stood frozen, mesmerized by the jewel in all of it's wondrous glory.
Whe...where did you find this! He said clearly elated to have the jewel.
That there is "the Jewel Of The Lost Warrior" belonged to the warrior himself. Some say It has magical powers, can turn stuff inta' other stuff ya see.But I could never get it to work....Let it bring more fortune to you than it has to me....now where's that town came from? He asked the young man.
About 10 miles that way take a left at shop sign. He said,as if he knew it like the back of his hand.
Thanks, and with that the crazy coconut man named Carter was off. He soon became a very famous armor maker in mushroom city, he even has his own shop, Carters coconuts.
After countless hours of examining the jewel Jonathan realized it was no more than a shiny stone, not any type of jewel at all!
This is hopeless he screamed! throwing the stone to the ground, and at that it shot out a beam of light hitting a near by crab turning it into a coin!
*GASP* GOLD! BUT HOW ?! He screamed in confusion.
Wait...IT'S A PHILOSOPHERS STONE! This has the power to change almost anything into anything else!
So after getting ample amounts of golden coins he set of back the way he came seeing as the desert could go on forever and he did not have the supplies he needed.
He would travel,to another city, see monsters of which the world had not seen before and after 5 years he had come across a land where robots ruled and dropped expensive items upon being shot by the stone.
This was it. this was where Jonathan would make his home. But throught this journey something had changed him...something had twisted so deep inside him he was no longer the same man he was when he set out on his quest.
The stone had not only changed the various monsters he encountered but it had changed his soul.
He ended the lives of millions of creatures just to make some cash.
But alas he was now bound to the stone, the very greed it gave him now fueled him as if it were throwing logs onto a fire...
He could not part with it, not yet at least.
He managed to open up a shop in this new land of "Robo-city" as he called it. He made millions daily selling and buying items he gained using the stone when nobody was around. and he didn't need to use it much at all.
One day something finally snapped in his mind. The fluid income he was getting was no longer enough, he began to steal.
He had no clue that the masses were preparing to attack when he was doing this.
All it would take would be a few more days of it...But these days were not needed.
One day a man with a blue-bouncy mushroom hat walked into his store and asked to purchase some gear.
Jonathan had just received the biggest order of his life and did not allow this opportunity to go unnoticed.
He took the cash from this powerful mage and gave him nothing.
But he had crossed the wrong man...He put a curse upon him...
He gave him the spirit of the Viper...
The Viper began to become lazy and greedy and did not want to leave his shop ever again...and he couldn't for that is his curse, he still makes more money than any shop keep can imagine...but with no way to support his family half a world away it meant nothing.
His family had even been long dead before he started to steal, they had been killed, their house burned to the ground by a ruthless king who had not received his tax on their home because the Viper was so greedy and had not given but a single coin to his family.
One day, old and alone he smashed the stone Putting yet another curse on him, every tenth night he is said to turn into a Yeti with the power to wield 2 war hammers, he then goes on a rampage until gaurdians of the realm killed him trapping his soul into his shop where if you're not careful you may end up trapped there with no hope of escape to be tortured by the twisted soul of the Viper....
DAMMIT WHY DOES EVERYTHING I WRITE TURN OUT LONG AND SCARY?---->No,no,no don't say that, get your mind out of the gutter, i know what you're thinking you sicko!
