Introduction

Well, the concept is simple and it can be a lot of fun. The way I'm going to do it is not complicated unless you make it, so pay attention as you read.

At the bottom will be a list of some Helmet Heroes areas. These towns you can hurt, or heal, based on a number system. Each area will start off with 25 "squadrons", which will be the units you can hurt or heal while playing. These squadrons are representative of the armies of these areas, and the more squadrons it consists of the stronger it is.

Now, here's how everything is going to work.

Rules

First, you MUST state the number you are changing each city to by hurting or healing them. For example, if you see that the Mushroom Village Military is at 35 from the most recent post concerning Mushroom Village, you can post "Mushroom Village Military double hurt to 33" by hurting them two if that's your move. Make sure to keep it easy for others! I'll try to keep the original post updated. The legal moves are: Double hurt (-2) or one heal (+1) AND one hurt (-1), only one heal (+1), or only one hurt (-1). The reason to use

Now, when you heal, you are adding to the number of the area you select. If you hurt, you lower the number. The number can NOT get higher than 50, and if it reaches 0 the territory is taken over by the person who destroy's the area's choice of region.

You are given 2 point changes per post, which you can use to double hurt, heal one and hurt another, simply hurt one, or simply heal one. It is highly recommended you make the most of your posts and use both, but not obliged.

You also MUST wait for 3 other people to post after you before you post again. That means, you post, three other people post, then you are allowed to post again. Not two people and you be the third, you can only post after three OTHERS. Along with that, you must wait about two hours between posts. So even if three other people have posted, you still need to wait until two hours after your previous post. That also means that if two hours have passed, but not three posts, you may not post yet.
(Summary: Wait for three other people to post AND two hours to pass between your posts)

An area that has consumed another area on account of a region being taken over by the person who posted the final hurt (making it 0) gets it's maximum heal capacity raised by 10. This means if, for example, the Mushroom Village Military takes over the Coast Guard, it can be healed up to 60 points. This has no impact on hurts or heals themselves, just maximum potential.

Every game ends in a month no matter what. There are 13 areas, making it an odd number to minimize any chance of a tie. No game is anticipated to take this long, and it should never have to, so the cutoff date must be drawn here.

While it's not a strongly enforced rule, please don't be the kind of guy that does nothing but target a single area. Also, please do not create teams with other players, especially in exchange for in-game or real world items. Play with your own glory, fight for YOUR honor. Not your group's honor.

NEVER try to lie about the number of a region. If you see that the Mushroom Village Military is at 35, do NOT say "hurt 2, 23." If you're caught skipping numbers, you will be exempt from playing until I forgive you.

The game is won when there is only one nation standing. There can only be one, the only one, for war shall never cease until there is none other to war with. Isolation is the only end to the bitersweet tale of heroism and tragedy. That's why we restart the game! :mrgreen:

Hatred award - "Kill" the same area 10 times in your gameplay: Win 300k

Art of War award - Kill and Guard 4 different areas in a single game: Win 500k

How do we determine which area's heal capacity is raised?
Is it that each individual poster is assigned to an area or when a poster gives the final hurt, he/she chooses which area to get upgraded?

Yes, the person who takes the kill chooses which region gets a heal capacity increase.

And who am I to stand between making my life easier? I'll use the format too. But it's a rule that you need to use both actions, so I think the action points/remaining action point status display is a bit unnecessary. :P

The results are in!

You are limited to one heal per move, but we maintain two action points. That means you can also hurt another.

But to make up for this removal, I'm glad to report I decided that it's now okay to use only a single point. That means its still possible to heal one and not hurt anyone, if that's your absolute certain choice. You can also use only a single hurt, if that's what you desire.
