1. The general rule is the better the drops, the lower the drop rates. There are some oddities, like getting a Fallen Queen's Sceptre from a Drill Bot (which has a drop chance of 23 in 10,000 (1 in 435), yet sells for $34,300) and getting a Demon's Fury (has a drop rate of 3 in 10,000 (1 in 3333); yet sells for only $17,500). Usually, people recommend grinding Magmagons and Mongrels for stuff like this.
2. I think monster size and monster power is factored into monster spawning? I mean Bullopedes are both very long and very powerful; and when I was there, I've only seen, at most, 4 of them.
3. I admire your wish for a challenge; finding Earth and Repguana gear may as well be like finding Shiny pokemon without luck pets.
