Formal discussion and debate of forum rules.

As the rules thread was immediately locked, a formal discussion and constructive criticism might as well be somewhere on them. While I appreciate most of the rules, I object to the strict signature rules.
I understand that some people have monstrosity signatures, and its annoying-- I hate when people have 2 huge images on top of each other taking up the entirety of the screen, but they have been reduced to a negligible point for their existence in my opinion.
Heres how big the signature can be:
It's pretty big, yeah, and it definitely is good for holding back the massively vertical posts, and while it's an uncomfortable restriction... It's tolerable. It helps more than it hurts.
The problem is that theres a 1 image restriction! I love my "regener" picture and the various spore creatures and what-not I make, boo hoo!
Anyways, that's my two cents. I figured some others may agree with me, or equally object to something as I do. It may seem like "your two cents", but with such a small community the inflation is negligible in comparison anyways.
