This particular ploy is so ridiculous that I've considered posting this in "Off Topic", given it's so unconvincing that it poses little threat to us (Mods, feel free to relocate this). Anyway, a certain "Risa01" presented me with this lovely proposition:

Then, he offers to buy $1 billion for $2 billion, a fantastic exchange rate:
I am sceptical and lost by the scheme's deep mechanics, so he reassures me of its simplicity and efficacy.
Apparently, he's now a fine furniture dealer:
