I've been suggesting for a while now magic only hits 2 times but damage is amplified 1.5x so no change other than a knockback nerf.

I... Don't understand why you say this. Or how that would happen if you mean specifically directed towards mages, but if in general... no.

Because if I understand you correctly, you want to just, as an end result when simplified, remove 1 casting blast of each magic weapon.

I like the mage system as it is, but I find the three classes unequal. I am not suggesting anything, but my previous question was because multiplying damage by 1.5 would result in more damage than is dealt now, if monster defense is not increased is well.

I know.

Look, if magic damage is amplified by x1.5 then we will deal more damage, and we will be able to hit higher level monsters quicker. This is necessary because our base damage is based on quantity, not quality. Melee is able to hit monsters much earlier than a mage ever could.

This would also reduce lag, by reducing 3 blasts to 2.

This would will also help take down the overpowered knock back a notch.

And to top it off, it would help with kill stealing (slightly).
