So how about another class?

A cross between warrior and archer.

Throwing class.

Has things like throwing knives, pebbles, etc.

You'd need Str and range for this class.

Any feedback?

I dunno, thats basically ranged.

It takes some strength to pull the string back with sufficient force to penetrate through a kreeton's body.

although the concept of more classes isn't a bad idea. My favorite class in all games is 'priest', to support others. It makes me essential in games as I get a higher level and can heal the crap outa my team and they protect me over everything

But mages have self heal, and guild heal, making that redundant.

Unless... Evil magics and holy magics?

seems like A lo of work it would add more gear to the game+another set of special skills 4 a entirely new class i think a gun class would be better but i don't think there will be a new class.

A gun class has been suggested in the past and has been told no time and time gain because it really isn't the style of the game.

just have a shurieken weapon for mage or archer :l they both us ranged projectiles anyway doesnt make sense to make a new range class usless robby changes up all classes and makes variations of mages like priest lol and wariior variations such as barbarian or scout etc... archer .. idk robinhood?? lol

its problematic cause you will need to put points also in tange and also in power so you will be weaker

I'm contemplating introducing a gun type class in the future. The details and balancing of the class won't be hard, I will get that sorted out just fine. It's just deciding whether or not guns have a place in helmet heroes. Maybe I will throw a poll when the time comes. But this is something on the to-do list.

I really don't think a gun class would fit the game, it's a totally different "time" if you will.

How about adding throw able weapons instead, with a quicker fire rate than archers but with less strength?

how about a ninja-like class or as soul said assassin class and the gear would make you quicker (and dex wouldnt make you faster any more) and attack speed should be added so ninjas weapons would attack really fast although the damage would have to be fairly weak. also i vote no to guns. i hate gunz

Like, ever play Clumsy Ninja? They have ball guns, but they maintain a cutesy kinda game, which is kinda akin to helmet heroes's style.

Gunslinger(a character who have a gun skills)
Aethertec(a character who have a robot skills)
Spiritmaster(a character who have a fire spirit ,water spirit, wind spirit,earth spirit)

better start saving for re-stat everyone is gonna be ninja more speed for killstealing and that idea cant be nothing but OP if you leave mage warrior and archer the same ninja's new style would be beast.
Same for gun type class.. if there's some full auto skill, the way stats affect damage this would be the most unbeatable damage per second. And for robby's poll please give a description of how this class will attack,it's speed, range, weapon damage, so general idea robby has for skills.
I don't see how you can balance these classes..
I have two thoughts that come to mind
First you can keep the current classes the same and add this and make adjusts that will be raged about like how people hate on thunderstrike. And being a mage you cant just get up and "One-Hit" monsters at level one. When a mage one hits something with thunderstrike they shouldn't be grinding there unless its for money
Second Robby re does all classes over a time period where he takes down the game and restats all characters to adjust to the new play style. Maybe revise how dex contributes to speed and just have everyone at the same speed.
and with all these variations maybe hit rate may play a part.
And Lasty we can only speculate because with the new maps coming up, how this will change getting kills and ahhhhhhhhhhh new classes will unbalance the game terribly but for the game to progress are also necessary and with gun and archer and mage warrior is a joke and should just be removed there is no way to justify its inadequacy in my opinion without it basically not being a melee class.
P.s Skills should be redone completely.. example mages can throw a fireball and switch to shock. For this to happean we would need the ability to place actions to different keys.
DAMN this topic has me frustrated because I might see ninjas flying around killing monsters and I didn't even know the ninja was there :l and some commando bazooka one hitting anything at level one beacause of the multiplier the rocket launcher skill would have.
I spent time on this speculation and would hope robby comments here. if he doesn't see this ill quote and pm him plz share your views on the topic
