Did some switching around of the pods- primarily so coke_na_rc could be in a pod with his real life friend BHAEN (welcome BHAEN!) and his impostor nephew pepalito (they don't know each other). I also moved penhead to Cactus Pod- hope no one minds. The other switches have all been fellows we've not seen in some time, so it ought not to be traumatic. They were unconscious when the operation took place.

Note: If ExoSanty does indeed join, there will need to be further pod shake-up to make room for the new pod- Boss Bears Pod.

It has occurred to me that one time honored Click to Talk tradition- bestowing upon each other special titles- has been neglected in recent months as we've said goodbye to valued members who no longer play the game and bid welcome to newer members; each accompanied by their own inherent value. I'd like to remedy this oversight by bringing those values to the fore.
So, be thinking about yourself and about your peers: what roles do they/you fill/want to fill? What responsibilities might you want to take on? What skills and talents and attributes might an individual have that distinguishes them beyond their level, their equipment, and their numeric attributes?
What follows is a list of classic, but by no means exhaustive, areas of focus that are of benefit to the group as a whole (to get your juices flowing):

Feel free to contact me with ideas and suggestions. Ultimately, a person should own their title. Ultimately, this game occurs on your leisure time, so it is, in part, the responsibility of the guild to ensure that that leisure time is spent in an optimal way.

If you look on the first page of this forum, you'll see (among other tid-bits of fascinating information) a break-down by pod of who's in the guild and what special title they might have. A pod is a smaller grouping of the greater guild for purposes of communication and special activities. For example, the current event we're engaged in is the Food Drive. The pod that distributes the most food gets a cash prize! Ultimately, the purpose is to keep in touch with those in your pod (since the full Guild won't fit on your friend list) for greater guild cohesion.
Elephant Pod consists of:
Yourself, fanatic, DannieRiel, pooface, and yours truly.
