Sell me your best steam game.

Post here for things completely unrelated to Helmet Heroes.

Sell me your best steam game.

Postby Mariofan1 » Wed May 22, 2019 7:10 pm

I want to find a new steam game, of any real genre, that I can enjoy and spend time into. Recently, I've just been bored of playing older games and want to find some new, hopefully indie, games which could interest me

So, what do you guys also play?

You can catch me on Mordhau often. Easiest one for me to advertise atm.

Additionally I recommend Rimworld, Darkest Dungeon, Tales of Maj'Eyal, Factorio, Kenshi, For Honor (also catch me on that if you aren't a ninny :ugeek: ), and the Dark Souls trilogy is ok too.
Ey yeah I'm gonna host a helmet heroes event on 4/20/2069 an and wqe're gonna go fishing in snowly flatts

Not on steam but it is honestly such an amazing game. ... hades/home
It's called Hades- Battle out of hell. The premise very broadly speaking ( don't wish to ruin the plot ) is that you are a dude named Zagerus who wants to escape from hell. Can't disclose reason because that might spoil game. Anyways it's a sidescroller, with multiple levels and 12 bosses or so. Every level you have the option of gaining a boon ( which augments your attacks ) from a god such as Zeus, gaining a currency named Charon's Obel or something and Darkness Essence, all of which are pretty helpful. It's a roguelike, so if you die, you lose all boons, but you keep all Darkness Essence which you can use to upgrade your character.

With all the new DLC's that have recently come out with it there's endless hours of fun to be had. Another huge plus is once you finish the original game with DLC or not there are rumors of a second game coming out so you can even further fuel that addiction

Darkest Dungeon is honestly my favorite game and I can't see any end to it holding that title (especially if you're looking for a challenge)

I'll name a few good games:

- Stardew Valley ... super relaxing/calming farming game, with plenty of things to do and countless hours game time, best one IMO
- Factorio ... tinkering with machinery, crafting robotics, etc
- Stonehearth ... city/community building and management
- Feed & Grow: Fish ... classic feed and grow kind of game
- Broforce ... non-stop mayhem shenanigans
