Eh,if the potato(e)s do rise, farmers will stop growing potatoes due to them being to common. Potato will become nearly worthless since their too common. Also, it will hurt the economy due to their cheapness.

WTH, why are we even worrying about the famed potato!!?? Bees are the main problem! (Maybe that problem passed. Eh.) The colonies are suffering CCD because of you pota-ta...er-tos (And others). Farmer are spraying pesticides on plants. Bees are are suffering from those harmful pesticides. I believed you have already arosen. You wreaked havoc on those bees! When they stop pollinating, other fruits and vegetables are going to be soooo rare that the have the chance of a godly ice blade from a sasquatch! Then, humans will barely have no fruits or vegetables and will only have the meat and dairy (Unless the shortage of fruits and veggies affect the extinction of animals as well). Therefore, shortening their life span. No pollination = no potatoes.
