Items for girls

My daughters play this game and like it a lot. They feel however that most of the gear is really boyish in design. They would love to be able to buy more girly(ish) stuff.

Here are some of their ideas:

* A bikini
* A pink chainsaw but with blood on the chain. One of them asked also if there could be an eye dangling from the chain.
* They would love the horned helmet in other color (pink, purple, yellow) but with flowers replacing the horns
* Most of the actual armor/helmet etc but with fancier colors (and it include a lot on pink hues)
* Dresses and hat for archers, Royal Ascot style for the hats.

Cheers

Oh God...are you dead serious about this? Because having daughters that are comfortable with Pink Bloody Chainsaws with an Eyeball dangling on it's blade, is not cool.

Plus, adding a bikini to this game isn't suitable for its theme. It's a game for children, ironically, there are more teens and adults who play this game.

So, no support for the first two suggestions. However, the other ones, I'm not so sure.

I suggested an Artisan Booth to be added in the game, it mainly provides you with options to customize the appearance of your equipment, sadly no one supported it

Now I apologize if this seems strange, but how is a horned helmet gonna be a horned helmet if it has flowers replacing the horns.

Now that just doesn't make sense to me.

It isn't going to be a horned helmet anymore. It shall turn to a Flowery Helmet!

I still hate the idea of more girlish gear added into the game....

Well you would be surprised, but girls can be way more hardcore than guys when they play online.
They like the exploration killing monster stuff. They did Wizard101 from top to toe but felt it was too slow paced and soft (also hugely tactical at high levels, too much). They also enjoy everquest, but too much walking around there.
Helmet heroes seems to be just right, lot of action and exploration without walking around for hours.

And yes the chainsaw is their idea. I don't know if you have kids but don't think girls a sweet dolls, they are like you guys.
When I say bikini (I don't know what that mean for you) but for them (and me) that means bathing suit like everybody wears on the beach which I don't see at all how it could be offending to children.

Lol, the kids in this generation is too much already. Too much.

Anyways, the bikini idea has already been suggested before. And the guy who suggested it got a warning from a Board Administrator. Robby, the creator of this game, doesn't suggest any skin revealing apparel in this game. I don't really know that much, but it's frowned upon by Robby.

The person who suggested it also added an inappropriate picture which was the cause of his warning though I heard he got suspended... ANYWAY I personally think that more female equipment would be fantastic! Only problem is Robby really doesn't have time to work on everything so usually people draw their ideas which helps robby a lot..

so you should get someone to draw your ideas for you :D

I'll get a warning then.

See when they saw the tropical beach level they thought a bathing suit would be nice to dive in the water.
Hence bikini in this post.
Now if the game creator doesn't like showing character flesh. which I understand, they could be based on the 1900's bathing suits

Okay, I changed my mind, the second example looks so fancy. Would be nice if Robby can add a cane to the game. The first one however...I'm confused, do people in the 1900's wear school uniforms to the beach? Because it looks like a typical Japanese Schoolgirl's uniform.

Well, I don't know if you saw a lot of Japanese school uniforms other than in anime/manga stuff but they don't really look like that.
That bathing suit indeed looks like the one used in the 1900's. When people started to get holidays the women were wearing dress like bathing suits modified to accommodate the sand and walking in the water. They also needed to have clothes convenient enough to put on and remove when going back to conventional dresses when leaving the beach. So yes the top look like a dress and the bottom somehow between short and dress. The design itself (blue and white sometime striped tissue) comes from traditional design of summer uniform from french army serving on ships

example of uniform:
http://www.asphm.com/uniformes/francais/matelot_marine_tenue_ete/matelot_marine_tenue_ete.html

if you are interested the site shows all types of uniforms.

I think school uniforms will only appeal to hormonal boy teenagers I'm afraid. My daughters do indeed wear school uniforms on weekly basis because they have too in UK and positively hate it. And school uniforms is the last thing they would like to find in games. I'm pretty sure not liking Japanese manga style school uniforms apply to a lot of girls.

I'm mainly wanting one for ingame-cosplay purposes, since the username/class of my character is based off of an anime character C:
On another note, I'm editing the horned helmet to fit the description in the OP, because I'm bored and I think it's a nice idea. I'll post it here when it's done.

* A bikini - Support for the less revealing ones like in your examples.
* A pink chainsaw but with blood on the chain. One of them asked also if there could be an eye dangling from the chain. - No. I don't care, no. This is too gory for the game; hatred armor was already borderline. Maybe the chainsaw with the blood, but not the eye dangling. Just the static blood on the chainsaw at most.
* They would love the horned helmet in other color (pink, purple, yellow) but with flowers replacing the horns First of all, like previously said, it's supposed to have horns. Second note, why is it so common for girls to have to like pink and purple in the first place? If the colors are interchangeable, at least make it all the colors of the bullhorn.
* Most of the actual armor/helmet etc but with fancier colors (and it include a lot on pink hues) That would take a lot of data, I think... Perhaps just interchangeable color themes for items.
* Dresses and hat for archers, Royal Ascot style for the hats. I think it's been suggested somewhere that all girl leggings become skirts of a similar theme, and on guys it stays leggings. It defaults for whether you create a boy/girl.

On a final note/in conclusion, I don't see any purpose in creating this kind of gear with high level stats. It would all be cosmetic and useless for training with. I think it would be better if time was invested in giving equipment that preexists color themes all their own that they can personalize. Would make the game way more fashionable for everyone.

Oh, and no gore. Blood barely exists on this game anyway.

Actually that sounds pretty cool to me, but I'm an adult. It seems pretty normal/okay for them to be comfortable with pink bloody chainsaws, they're gamers after all. Lots of kids games have bits of gorey-ness like that in it and of course violent video games don't create violent people. These daughters sound awesome.

If they wanted to go around with real chainsaws cutting out real eyeballs, that may warrant just a smidge of concern.

But yeah, girl gear would be pretty sweet. Or at least some color options, there's some sweet armors I would've liked in pink or blue.

The finished product.

Me pasting it onto an NPC's head to try and see what it would look like. (Positioning is probably off)

I personally like it C:

Blood wouldn't really bother me, and neither would the eyeball, but I do think the dangling eyeball is a bit much.
