I've seen posts about this before. I know that it has been discussed to some degree. However, I don't see much changing.
Granted, keeping a game running is hard work, and problems have to be prioritized. But this has really gotten out of hand. I'm talking about spawn balls. Let me put up a screenshot to show just how much of a problem they have become:

As you can see, there is a high - level spawn ball and a medium level one right next to the entry portal. Need I point out that this is also a place where very low levels generally congregate? I am saddened by the very flippant attitudes among some of the higher levels concerning this problem. We need to remember that this game was made to be enjoyable for everyone, not for some high - leveled punk to sit back and laugh as noobs die.
I am proposing three much - needed fixes to spawn balls:
1. No spawn balls in cities
_____There are plenty of other very viable places in which to place them. Cities are supposed to be places of respite from danger, of healing, and of trade. They are not grinding spots.
2. No spawn balls near portals
____Do I even need to explain this one?
3. Limit the areas in which higher level balls can be spawned.
___This suggestion may be a bit unpopular, but I believe it is necessary. Why should someone be allowed to place a yellow spawn ball in the middle of Green Bouncer Cove? It doesn't make sense. I'd recommend that spawn balls can only be placed in the areas spawning monsters equal to or above their weakest spawned monster. (E.G. yellow spawn balls can only be placed in areas with monsters as powerful or more powerful than pumpkin creepers.) This will ensure that people can't block off paths in noob areas like mushroom way.
