Hiya. So i was grinding in Proteum Bottom and thinking, "I wonder why there aren't any trees to chop underwater." And then it hit meh... Seaweed. Chop-able like any other tree and it drops seaweed leaves, and i guess you could craft them for about 5-6k... but then the next-step idea happened...
SUSHI!!
so here's what i propose: players can chop seaweed plants in aqualantis, Proteum Bottom, Deep ocean, and the other Aqualantis rooms etc. The player could also catch fish. A new "click to talk" character named Jiro would be the one to craft the sushi for the player using 6 seaweed leaves and 6 fish (not shiny), plus about $2500. (There is a movie called "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" about a sushi master.) Since each fish has about a 450hp return, the sushi plate would give about 3000 points of HP and about 1500 points of MP when eaten. Each crafted sushi will be one unit.
I suppose a new fish would need to be added specifically for the sushi, unless Robby can figure a way to not accidentally have big useful fish accidentally go into the sushi, so i suggest "fullbelly" who looks kind of like a fat tuna, is light red with a few fins. Thuggy, can you create this?
One possible alteration to this idea could be that players who would be doing this crafting might not have teleport, and it could take forever to go back and forth, so the "Jiro" click to talk guy could be in the fishing fort and the "fullbellys" could spawn in aqualantis.
Sushi or other combinations of food, like an apple pie (maybe we could craft the apples into an apple pie)..could allow non-mages to compete in pvp/gvg areas and survive in rooms beyond their normal capabilities. I remember trying to keep my duck alive in bricks before it was brickstat... i fed my duck a lot of fish...
There could also be a new quest: Another "click to talk" guy could be placed in Acid Village and he could say something like this: "Hiya dude, I totally left my lunch at home and i'm super hungry. Could you bring me 5 pieces of sushi?" The player who finishes this quest could get 20k exp (or whatever would make it worth doing for new players).
thuggy, if you could draw some ideas for sushi, that would be helpful! Liked your moss fish idea. fits in perfectly... maybe the moss fish could be the sushi fish...
Flashylight,Great idea for Helmaceaus park. perhaps the quest guy could be there.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
