awsome.. but i dont think that all the fishes needed to be in one area with chance to meet them... the up line hav eone area with good chance to meet every fish in the up line in the middle line there will be another area.. and the boss wil have another area with the medium fishes that will increase his hp

if fishing was to be added, i think one area specificly for fishing should be made. i could be a very large pond and you could fish there, sell them to a fish shack in the area and also eat them.
also my fav fish is the 3rd night stalker

Um, fishing with super rare things... that's my weakness. If anyone's ever played "FATE," I dual wield 2 weapons that have a 1/1000 chance to get caught (in addition to a bunch of rings and necklaces and armor), as well as selling MANY fish, rings, legendary weapons, ect... I've cast out that pole more times than any sane person would in my life, and it takes a while every time.

Also these fish look amazing.

I have a suggestion. It may or may not be a good one. Don't hate.

We should have to be resourceful for lure. Perhaps a feature where you can turn items into lure, or buy lure itself from a fishing shop at the beach for what would cost more than item break downs.

So here's how the lure idea goes in my head.

A) You can fish without lure. You'll probably get worse fish and less frequently, though. Lure can greatly magnify your success.

B) Each fish type requires a respective type of lure, due to their different diets and lifestyles. For example, a beach fish can't eat stalker food. Lure isn't really food, though, it just attracts the fish. Fish have a natural tenancy to bite things they are curious about, for unknown reasons. The items are made of broken down pieces of items, not the items themselves. That justifies reason C.

C)Lure either doesn't go in your conventional inventory at all, or stacks in quantity. I suggest lure has it's own little mini-tab in the current inventory system, just for convenience.

D) Each type of fish has different tiers of lure. You can break down items to receive lure.

E) Breaking down items for lure will give different amounts based on how much the particular item costs. For example, there are many coconut based items. These coconut based items being broken down all give coconut lure, but in different amounts of lure produced based on how much the item costs to buy which then breaks it down. You will get MANY more thorny lures from a natures bow than a thorn bow, for example. The quantity helps make up for quality in prices, so one lure that may cost a little less than a worse lure for example could actually just be much harder to obtain.

F) The types of fish that take the tiers of lure are:

Wooden village fish:
weak - small/big stick lure.
decent - apple/banana lure.
good - flower lure.

Mushroom village fish:
weak - watermelon lure.
decent - leafy lure. (leaf bow, three leaf bow, leaf pad bow, and reinforced bush gear)
good - coconut lure. (coconut items, includes leafy coconut helmet.)

fairyville fish:
weak - leathery lure. (leather gear, archer leather)
decent - pumpkin lure.
good - elegant lure. (rich mans bow, cloth ballerina gear, charm hat, royal gear)

beach fish:
weak - meaty lure. (currently only turkey)
decent - thorny lure. (thorn bow, natures bow, spiked shell helmet, spiked dino shoes)
good - bushy lure. (compressed bush gear)

robo city fish:
weak - adamant lure (adamant gear set)
decent - magnesium lure (magnesium gear set)
good - zinc lure (zinc gear set)
amazing (this is the only lure that can catch the super-rare fish!) - titanium lure. (titanium gear set)

wastelands fish:
weak - ancient lure (ancient gear items)
decent - crystalline lure (all crystal gear sets)
good - hateful lure (hatred gear items)
amazing (again, only way to catch the super-rare!) - beholder lure (all items composed of beholder scales)

G) If you try to use the wrong lure in a certain place, to prevent breaking the 4th wall AND ending up losing your lure, you simply are able to attempt fishing there but you can NEVER catch a fish because instead of attracting them they are scared away by it. Simple enough way to keep people from losing lure when they don't have to.

A second suggestion: For the heropedia, to make it more full-fleshed out, robby, you may want to consider splitting it up into two sub-sections nested within the hero-pedia with their contents nested within the sub-section. That way you are closer to complete development of the hero-pedia, which has been "under development" forever now... It sounds perfect to me. :mrgreen:

part of my suggestion is a shop by the beach that sells just that, but the bait is really expensive and kind of a waste to buy directly. Frankly, I think resourcefulness dependence sounds like a wonderful idea though!

However, if robby doesn't like the idea of breaking apart items into lures, the shop can still sell the lure itself (as you can tell, I listed types of lure followed by in parenthesis what can be broken up into it.)

I've added more fish and at itblobbymahboy, I have my own ideas about lures and fishing rods that I will add/draw later when I finish drawing more fishes, though you're ideas aren't bad. I especially like the heropedia idea. :D
