So yeah, here's the deal. During one of the instances when I went out of my way to fight Glords, I've noticed something off. I've felt the Glords were badly design. Their eyes are asymmetrical to the face, the arms have no link to a real body, and the walking animation left much to be desired. The worst part is I can't tell what those things are from face value alone. Are they frogs? Cows? Cow-frogs? Because of this, I decided to use my prowess in Total Drama's art style to create a more sensible redesign for those things. Why? Well, basically, my suggestion is to make the Glord itself look artistically appealing.
I'll admit to quickly cobbling this together due to a big project I have in the works, but at least I managed to fix the glaring issues the Glord itself had. I've went for a gorilla look with the design, hoping that'll give the Glord a more sensible look, not to mention a body that actually looks like a body. I've mainly used pictures of real gorillas and Sasquatchanakwa from Total Drama as a reference whilst making this. Yeah, I was really ill-bent on the whole gorilla thing. Of course I gave the creature bull horns because those were actually useful for fighting against enemies. Seriously, would you be able to fight enemies if you were a horned creature and your horns were pointing straight down? Me either.
With that aside, I'll put my suggestion here. If this appeals to you, will you actually consider the design's use? If not, will you at least try to give the Glord a sensible look? Either way, I sincerely hope for an aesthetically-appealing Glord design.
