First I would like to say that a lot of people are probably going to hate this ( Idk why :s )
As far as levels goes they are very pointless. The only point of them is to reach a certain armor which eventually is pointless to wear the next set of armor ( unless a warrior then there is some use ) so here is something that can be added.
Rebirth- At level 1000 you can rebirth. Upon doing so you lose all stats, skills, and levels. ( Only stats,skills gained through levels will be lost so dont worry about booked points. ) Once you rebirth all of your items will be unequipped and you will look like a new player. Unlike any other player you will have a grey skull next to your name when a player clicks on you. Through rebirthing you get 6 skill points per level and 2 special skill points per level. You can also wear new types of armors and gain access to other areas that non rebirthed players can.
Ascension- At level 1000 rebirth. Same as rebirth expect you are open up to more areas and gain 10 skills points and 3 special skill points per level and you get a gold skull instead of a grey skull. You also gain a new tab called implants. There will be 5 different implants being skull, arms, body, legs, and feet. All 5 have to be crafted and require level 1000 ( ascension ). Each will provide stats for every class ( including defence ? ) and give a 10% xp bonus meaning that you can have 50% more xp. For this reason each will cost a lot and will require a few shinnies and wood per piece but overall makes it effect.
