Chain Gun Nurfed

This is stupid. The fire rate is fine but the power is not even close. The cowboy is under powered now, to the max. Here is a set of pictures from the best gin in the games power and an electric barracuda.

It takes roughly 1.65 seconds to perform a 3-hit combo with the electric barracuda (including the pause at the end. So that is (60/1.65)*3*0.5(233+290) = 28527.272 base damage per minute.

The enforcer gun shoots 300 bullets a minute. So its base damage per minute is 0.5(107+130) * 300 = 35400.

Still more damage than the barracuda does.

Cowboys were way OP before. Now they are the same as the other classes. Before u say cowboys are bad, switch to archer for a few days, see how ya like that

They are not exacly the same. When I compete with other classes in beholders with WAY worse stats they own me. It takes me a long time to grind in beholders with 2,580 artillity. If I was a warrior, it would be much easier. And with this cowboy nurf update, I WOULD prefer to be any other class execpt a cowboy (execpt maybe a mage), because they are now the worse class. And when you said eletric barracude is weaker then enforcer gun, I almost laughed. Enforcer is suppose to be WAY stronger then eletric barracude, saying it is about 150 levels away and about 3x more expensive. You should have compared it to a divine bow, god dagger,ect. Those are way stronger then the enforcer gun now. I will admit, it might be a bit more balanced but no where near perfect.

True i think im just kinda shocked because before with chaingun i could farm lotus eye and now i can barely farm bricks. I guess im still a little upset. :cry: :?

My range and artillery stats are exactly the same,so i decided to test which is stronger (using normal attack only)
I used chain gun and harpoon bow as they have the same lvl req.(128)
I found that the chain gun does 15% more dmg pr.min than the bow.

Oh well you guys only talk about the damage per minute, but in reality, it doesn't work that way.

First of all, guns don't fire continuously anymore. They stop firing after about 10 seconds.
So the formula doesn't work. But you guys will insist on it anyway. Second, speaking of grinding efficiency, cowboys are now the worst because the other classes at the same level can take out monsters more quickly with fewer attacks. Third, many cowboys don't have private servers. That means they now have more difficulty competing with the other classes.

Now what makes cowboys good is they can continuously attack by pressing down the space key. Nothing else is good enough to be mentioned.

Those who said cowboys are OP should shut up now.

you guys all calculate power each minute ...


but when i was in bricks with my warrior friend wich had 1000 power and i had around 1300 art ... i did 900 damage each hit and he did 13k !!!! so if u calculate ... it takes him 1 hit ... 1 second and takes me around 9 hits ...


i know i used chaingun and he used a good sword but still ....

He doesn't need to change it to the original, but he definitely needs to buff cowboys a bit.

chaingun was way too op before.... 900 rpm with an average of 100 damage per bullet.... and you could shoot 15 bullets in 1 second....

It is fair now.... cowboys have high rps so you hardly get hit plus cowboys hardly need any mp,, i think robby balanced it perfectly now.

it's not fair at all! People with 1,000 range own me in beholders, and I have 2,500 artillity!!! I'm not over exagertating the slightest bit. Does that sound fair to you?

I know many of you are jealous of cowboys' fire rate. Now are you satisfied? Mocking us makes you feel great, right?

Again, I want to emphasize this again. Cowboys are already weak before the update. After the update, they suck even more. Also, stop calculating the damage per minute. It never works that way. Can you keep firing for a minute? Even if you have the stamina, the game doesn't let you do it.

LightDefender is right. Stop talking about unfair because we can't even shoot for a minute. Maybe rob you could slow down fir rate, but the gun damage is just to damn low.

nope i was using cowboy.... but i understand the fact that cowboys were way too op with the chaingun they had before... only enforcer gun was better than that... however chaingun is still quite good.... its overall power is decreased to 1/5th of its original power.

I used a chaingun for more than 120 levels and all I like about it was its fire rate. The damage, to be honest, sucked. And it sucks more now.
