@r3v3r3nd: Thanks r3v! Yeah, I forgot that 'R' was for Self-Rage so the hotkey would definitely have to be changed.....
@bloodstrikez: Thanks bloodstrikez! I agree that the skill fits the Archer class more; poison tipped arrows does sound like something that could work. I thought about this skill with an intention that it would fit a rouge type kind of class but seeing as how Carnelia can only be killed by Mages and Warriors right now, hopefully this DoT skill will assist Archers so that they have a chance to be able to kill Carnelia as well as currently they are unable to deal a significant amount of damage to it before Carnelia's health regens.
@Contressa: Thanks Contressa!
@Metalmorphosist: Thanks! Yeah, r3v mentioned this in his post as well, I forgot that 'R' was for self rage so the hot key would definitely have to be changed.
@Contracter: I agree with the fact that warriors have a wider range of armors and equipment that give them significant boosts to their stats (Strength and Defense). However, I think that this skill would still be a valid skill for warriors. This is because yes, Warriors are a tank build that can take damage from a Lightning Strike but to be able to damage a glass cannon Mage, they would first need to get close to said Mage to be able to inflict large amounts of damage whereas the Mage can keep running away and spamming the Lightning Strike skill which would wear down even the most experienced warrior (except r3v3r3nd cause he's godlike)
.
If there is a chance of being able to get close enough to a Mage and damage them, they simply run and then use the magic class heal skill to recover their health and then resume a spam fest of Lightning Strikes and Multi Kills.
(My only fear right now is that if the most powerful Mage itblobboy had the same defense as say r3v3r3nd's of around 1400, then we would all be truly doomed as Mages have the strongest offense and by combining that with a Warrior's defense, then Mages would no longer be a glass cannon build but the most tankest and powerful class in the entire game) To compensate for the fact that Warriors have the highest base damage, most Archers and Mages used books to increase their Range or Magic.
I agree with the fact that Archers are under powered in PVP (except from Gret and YL, those guys are the rare exception) and so I think that the Poison DoT Skill that I posted could be Archer exclusive, combine this Poison Skill with the Arrow Rain Skill and then Archers should have a fairly even standing against Mages and Warriors.
@itblobboy: Thanks itblobboy!
