Once again, this may seem picky, but I'd like to see what people think about this.
To me, it makes less and less sense to see higher and higher level monsters drop things like sticks, beanies, shirts, etc. Is there a point to this I'm not seeing? The only small convenience I can see is if someone wants to grab a shirt, stick, pants, w/e to wear real quick in order to sell their armor/weapon. Otherwise, this just clutters the ground with useless stuff not even worth selling that we almost always just throw back on the ground anyway. It would make sense to me to not see low level stuff like that drop from high level monsters. So... how about eliminating that? Wouldn't it cut down a little on lag by having less things on the screen (especially in mass killing)? If someone high level wanted to grab a low level item, it might take just a tad longer this way, but they shouldn't have any trouble with getting it. Plus, I find the trade-off definitely worth it.
As an alternate idea (which may not be any easier to execute or better in general), having a list that each player can make that BLOCKS specified items from being picked up. Maybe through typing it into a text box or something? I dunno.
