As an avid gamer for more than 15 years, I found my way to Helmet Heroes a week or two ago. I flipped through the character classes and settled on the Warrior; an apparently tanky, heavy hitter. Directly from the class screen: "The wear highly defensive armor allowing them to get up close and personal with enemies and deal large amounts of damage in a single blow."
Having played the class up beyond lvl 100, I can truly say the class is underwhelming when compared to others. While yes I can eventually stand in mobs receiving 0 damage, I have moved on to harder, and more beneficial mobs by that time frame. Additionally, I have noticed that warriors are the only class with forward momentum on attack. This makes it especially hard to attack mobs that deal massive amounts of damage to me still; I attack, move forward on my swing, the mob may randomly glitch forward or not get knocked back, and I eat a lot of damage or die. Just this morning, an archer was able to perch themselves on a pillar at a safe distance and pluck off all yellow spawn egg monsters (including yetis) at a lower level than myself. I couldn't even touch the overflowing crowd of monsters because of all the built up yetis in the group.
Between the forward momentum mechanic, lack of ranged attack, and quite literally an on par damage ratio with the other classes, I don't see any reason anyone should want to be a warrior. Ranged classes can shoot through walls, making spawn ball placed in a watery death pit cannon fodder for ranged classes; they can just stand on the otherside of the wall and shoot through it to kill everything in the water.
Additionally, leveling pets is a nightmare as a warrior. If I have to get up close and in the fray in order to kill monsters, my pets die instantly. Using range or the spawn ball wall technique, ranged classes can actually powerlevel themselves or pets.
We need to either have better flexibility in the warrior class or even the classes out a bit. We need a gap closer or better dmg/defenses to compare. The ability to range kill mobs far outweighs the so called "tanky, large dmg class" of warriors.
Please look into this.
