Question About Multi-Attack Skill of Warriors

Because as robby said he is planning to increase the chaining distance of multi attack by about 75% , and im planning to work on this skill so i like some feedback , i would just like to ask how does Multi Attack work? How does it chain? Does it have an attack animation when chaining or it damages all enemies all at once? Can it chain to the other side if the area if the enemy spacing is at right distance?

actually this skill is kind of glitchy. it doesn't show any chain, and sometimes it doesnt hit multiple enemies, instead it hits 1 enemy multiple times... not sure how it works, but I use it occasionally.
