Nothing is offensive until somebody takes offense to it. I have "black" in me (amongst most other races as well to some degree) and if somebody calls me a nigger I don't get offended. Why would I? It stems from the word "black" in Latin (negro). For me to say it's offensive to be called a nigger I'd basically be saying that it's offensive to be called black, which would in turn make me the racist one, not the one who directed the comment. Food for thought kiddies.
